This is an excellent buy. The plates are a nice crisp white and wash up beautifully in the dishwasher. They don't get too hot in the microwave either. I love that this set came with glasses instead of mugs. We don't use mugs much at our house and these glasses are the perfect size for water. I like the basic white color because I can always add additional dishes and they will match anything. I would buy again.Customer Review: Very nice

This is a very nice set. Easy to store and clean. I would like to order more and see that the Corelle Winter Frost which is also white is cheaper. Does anyone know the difference other than this comes with glasses and the Winter Frost comes with mugs?Customer Review: Great Set, Could Be Better

Corelle has always made an excellent product and this a nice simple starter set. For me it was a replacement set. (Word to the wise: Don't use when giving neighbors treats because the plates are so nice you'll never get them back.) In the twenty plus years I've had my Corelle set for everyday use, I've only ever had one place get a small chip in it. Other than that none have ever broke, they still look like new and are great for use in the microwave!
Only thing that would make this set perfect would be to get rid of the cheap glasses and replace with pasta bowls. They're not fooling anybody by adding these glasses (which you could buy anywhere for about a dollar) as a filler making you think you're getting some kind of great deal.

I've used this set for 2 years. Easy to clean, fairly durable - one plate has chipped and 2 glasses have broken.
The nasty surprise? One glass arrived with an unfinished very sharp area on the rim about 3/4ths of an inch wide. That went into the trash; it wasn't worth the effort to return it.

I purchased two of these sets to have a nice supply of dinnerware for everyday use. I love the light weight, durability, and space saving design of these plates and bowls. I will never go back to stoneware!
